Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SmartWorkflowLab collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

Overview

SmartWorkflowLab ("we", "us", or "our") publishes guides, reviews, and tools related to AI productivity and workflow automation at https://smartworkflowlab.com. This policy applies to everyone who visits the site. By using SmartWorkflowLab, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

Information We Collect

We collect a limited amount of information:

  • Information you provide directly. If you contact us through our contact form or by email, we receive whatever you include — typically your name, email address, and message.
  • Usage data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics tools may automatically log standard technical information, such as your browser type, device type, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your IP address. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used — not to identify you personally.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. We and our advertising and analytics partners may use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to recognize your browser, remember preferences, and serve relevant content and ads. See the "Cookies" and "Advertising" sections below for details.

We do not require account registration to read the site, and we do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as financial account numbers or government ID numbers.

How We Use Information

  • To respond to messages sent through our contact form or by email.
  • To understand which content is useful, so we can improve the site.
  • To detect and prevent abuse, spam, or security issues.
  • To serve advertising, where applicable, including through third-party networks like Google AdSense.
  • To comply with legal obligations where required.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share the contents of your contact-form messages with third parties except as needed to respond to you or as required by law.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them, and allow select partners to use them, to:

  • Remember basic preferences, such as light or dark mode.
  • Understand aggregate site usage and traffic patterns.
  • Support advertising, including ad personalization and frequency capping.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect some site features (like remembering your theme preference) but will not prevent you from reading our content.

Advertising and Google AdSense

SmartWorkflowLab uses, or intends to use, Google AdSense to display advertising on the site. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visitingGoogle's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can visitwww.aboutads.info/choicesto opt out of participating vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising more broadly.

Third-party ad vendors, including Google, may also use their own cookies or web beacons to collect information about your visits to this and other sites, in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may interest you. We do not control the practices of third-party advertisers, and this policy does not cover their use of your information — please review the privacy policy of any advertiser directly.

Affiliate Links

Some links on SmartWorkflowLab are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes which tools we recommend or the opinions in our reviews — see ourAbout pagefor more on how we test and choose what to cover.

Analytics

We may use privacy-conscious analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic and content performance — for example, which articles are read most, or which pages people leave from. Where analytics cookies are used, they are covered by the "Cookies" section above. We do not use analytics data to build individual profiles for sale to third parties.

Children's Privacy

SmartWorkflowLab is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address below and we will delete it.

Data Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the limited information we hold, including serving the site over HTTPS. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. Since we collect very little personal information — mainly what you send us directly through the contact form — most requests can be handled simply by emailing us. We will respond to reasonable requests within a reasonable timeframe.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example as our use of analytics or advertising changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
